![7 New Family Movies to Brighten Up Your February](https://i.swncdn.com/media/1280w/via/12487-home-movie-night-gettyimages-vadimguzhva.jpg)
February rarely tops anyone's "favorite month" list.
It's cold. It's often cloudy. And the sun sets each evening way too early. In fact, a 2023 YouGov survey placed February second on the list of Americans' "least favorite months." (January won that contest.)
Then again, maybe February gets a bad rap. Maybe we just need a new perspective.
During February, we gain roughly an hour of daylight. We build anticipation for spring. We also get to celebrate things like flowers, chocolate and love.
And …we get to enjoy family movie night.
Here are seven new movie options for families to enjoy this month.
