When Following Christ is Not Easy – Beloved Women – July 25, 2024

TODAY’S ENCOURAGEMENT
I never planned to join Christ into ministry. Finally, one day, I started saying "yes" to God's calling. I expected life to become comfortable. I waited for the Lord to move, and then I followed. Now, twenty years later, I realize ministry is difficult. Following Christ has taken me places I never expected to go, and has also taken me through many unexpected valleys.
Following Christ into a ministry of any kind, will never be free from obstacles. The road that follows Christ is narrow, and few will take it. But Christ will reward those who choose His pathway. The secret I discovered is to follow His lead down the road, and to say “yes” when you feel His nudge. The rewards will follow, if we don't give up on His calling. God has allowed us to see how He can change our lives for the better when we follow Him.
PRAY
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for allowing me to participate in your mission on earth. Help me to stay strong, even when life’s path leads me through the valley. Help me to persevere and reap your reward for my faithfulness. In Jesus' name, Amen.
