Pure Silver and Gold – Beloved Women – March 4, 2019

TODAY’S ENCOURAGEMENT
In today's scripture, the writer reminds us that God's promises are pure. The author compares them to silver and gold, precious metals that we should treasure. But what are some of the promises the Lord makes to us?
God loves you (Romans 8:38-39)
We will spend eternity with Jesus if we are His (John 3:16)
God has plans to prosper your life (Jeremiah 29:11)
God created you (Psalm 139)
With God, all things are possible for us (Philippians 4:13)
These are only a few of His promises. But, we can cling to these when life gets complicated, and we feel lost or overwhelmed. Just like silver and gold, these promises will stand true forever. Psalm 89:34 says "No, I will not break my covenant; I will not take back a single word I said." (NLT) Store God’s promises in your heart and treasure them forever.
PRAY
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for revealing all Your promises to me. Thank You for being faithful in what You have promised so I may rest in Your truths. Teach me to reflect on these promises when I feel lost and lonely in the world. In Jesus' name. Amen.
