Since they had been without food for a long time, Paul stood up among them and said, "Men, you should have listened to me and not have set sail from Crete and incurred this injury and loss. Yet now I urge you to take heart,
"Let's be a voice of encouragement to those around us who are making poor decisions or not listening to wise godly counsel. Walk alongside them, and be ready when it's your time to step back in and tell them, 'But take heart.'"
