Today's verse is Psalm 38:5-9 with Kim Matthews.
My wounds fester and stink because of my foolish sins. I am bent over and racked with pain. All day long I walk around filled with grief. A raging fever burns within me, and my health is broken. I am exhausted and completely crushed. My groans come from an anguished heart. You know what I long for, Lord; you hear my every sigh.
"Father, you are so kind. Hear my cry to you today. Forgive me for my sins, heal my body, and rescue me from the traps that I have set for myself and any of the other traps that are in my path. By your mercy, rescue me. In Jesus' Name, Amen."
