Transsexual Cartoon Part of Larger Strategy

"SheZow" is "the world's first 'transsexual' superhero." "Guy" is a 12-year-old boy who uses a magic ring from his dead aunt, shouts "You go girl!" and morphs into a crime-fighting female. The cartoon airs at 12:30 p.m. ET on the Hub network, which states its goal as "entertaining, enlightening, empowering and educating children and their families."

"SheZow" is not the first cartoon character to advance the LGBT agenda. "Batwoman" is now a lesbian (she proposed to her girlfriend last February); "Batgirl's" roommate recently revealed that she is transgendered and bisexual. Last year, "Northstar" (one of the X-Men) "married" his boyfriend

Along the same lines, ABC Family will debut this Monday a new drama series called "The Fosters." It tells the story of a lesbian couple who raise biological and adopted children together. A network executive described their motive: "I hope we are making it accessible. I hope we are making it seem normal. I think it's the job of this network to depict the idea of family in as wide a variety of ways as possible."

What's going on here? More than most people know.

In recent decades, a group of scholars has advanced "gender theory" — the argument that society has attached certain "gender characteristics" or roles to people based on their sex.  We're told that these roles have led to the oppression of women by men and of anyone who does not act according to them. In this view, we are born "neuter," but society imposes a masculine identity on men and a feminine identity on women.

The most radical proponents of this theory insist that all such identities should be discarded so that people are free to adopt whatever sexual identity they wish. A person could then be masculine physically but feminine psychologically, or the reverse. Independent of a person's biology, he or she can experience homosexual, heterosexual, bisexual or asexual desires.

This agenda ultimately requires the deconstruction of the family as it has been constituted across history. Rejecting traditional roles for men and women, it allows a family to be whatever its constituents choose it to be.

This academic agenda is now working its way more and more into popular culture. In the name of "tolerance," it is intolerant of any view but its own. Promoting "marriage equality," it actually seeks "marriage destruction." We should not be shocked by such deception: "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness" (2 Corinthians 11:14-15).

Has it ever been more important that we "stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist" (Ephesians 6:14)?
