Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
I truly believe that faith is a must-have when walking daily with the Lord. The Bible says that “without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him” (Hebrews 11:6).
Ask yourself right now…
- Do I worry about how I’m going to pay next month’s bills? Or do I trust that God will take care of me?
- Do I stress over difficult situations…trying to work them out on my own? Or do I have faith that God will work all things together for my good?
- Do I rely on my own judgment and planning? Or do I have faith that God will provide the wisdom I need to proceed in making decisions?
True faith can only come from a personal relationship with Jesus. And that relationship can only be deepened by spending time each day in His Word.
Faith is like a muscle: the more you exercise it, the stronger it becomes. Faith isn’t feelings or emotions. Faith is believing that God will do what He says He will do as stated in His Word.
GOD REQUIRES YOU TO TRUST HIM. SO HONOR HIM TODAY WITH YOUR FAITH.
