Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

A while back, I heard about a Denver elementary school teacher who committed the unpardonable crime of having hundreds of books on her shelves which included two that were not permitted. One was called The Bible in Pictures and the other was The Story of Jesus. And she also had the “indescribable audacity” to have a Bible on her desk.

 

When the authorities-that-be found out about it, they brought her in on the carpet and she was reprimanded. Our society has put God out of education, politics, business, and virtually everywhere else. Man refuses God in knowledge! Our society has not only become twisted in its sexuality, but it has become very anti-God. People have turned to science, the arts, and human imagination—anything besides the worship and praise God.

 

But God made the man and woman in His own image. Because of sin we were separated from Him. Only by faith in Jesus Christ who died on the cross for every sin can we move back into a relationship with Him. No wonder in the Garden of Gethsemane Jesus poured out drops of blood in His sweat from the sheer terror of bearing the vile sin of humankind. But Jesus died on that cross and rose again so that we might have forgiveness and eternal life. And he is the ONLY way to salvation.

 

Unfortunately, most people today don’t think they need God or salvation in their lives. Man tries to get rid of God, but it’s impossible because the nature of God is innate within every man. Made of God, He has set eternity in our hearts and has proved His reality in creation. If you feel empty inside, there’s a reason. The Lord Jesus can fill that void. If you haven’t trusted Him today, ask Him to forgive you of your sins and come into your heart and life.

 

NEW AGE THINKING WON’T PUT GOD OUT OF WORLD, BECAUSE HE REIGNS FOREVER.
