For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

--Romans 1:16

I want to share with you one of the most important things a believer in Jesus Christ can do… sharing your faith with someone else. Many of us don’t know how to do that, but I want you to take a pencil and a piece of paper and simply write down A, B, C, D.

It starts with A…there’s something to admit. Romans 3:23 says that, “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” And Romans 6:23 tell us, “The wages of sin is death.” Before someone can be saved, they have to recognize that they’re lost. They have to understand their condition without God.

Then there’s B…something to believe. And what people need to believe if they’re going to be saved is that Jesus is Lord. In Acts 16:31 Paul made it clear, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.” To believe in Jesus means to trust Him, to really give your life to Him.

Then there’s C…something to consider. You need to consider what it means to give your life to Christ. As Paul says in Ephesians 4:21-24, “You were taught in him, to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.” This means a new way of living…and it means repenting and turning from those things that bury you spiritually.

Then there’s D…something to do. And that something is to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior. John 1:12, “To all who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.”

Admit, believe, consider, and do. You can share that little message, as I have, in just a few minutes. But it is a message that will change a person’s life for eternity!

Admit, believe, consider, and do…An easyto remember, lifesaving message that can bring others to christ
