A Miracle Assignment - Warrior Mom Wisdom - Week of July 21
A Miracle Assignment
Recently I attended a You Were Born for This conference at a local church. I kneeled, prayed, and asked to be sent on a miracle assignment. On the way home that night, God said, "Call your grandmother.
"I knew it was God because "I" could not call her. You see, there was at least 5 generations of addictions and abuse in my lineage; it wasn't going to be as simple as talking about apple pie! However, I am named after my grandma: Christine Marie, except my name is spelled with a K. We have a special connection in that when I was 7, I almost died. I was in a coma for 2 months, and they were going to unplug me. My grandma stood at my bed and said, "You will not unplug her; she will live!"
I tell you this because you are going to be amazed by this story of eternal life. As soon as she answered the phone she said, "It's a miracle you called me!"
That was the truth. The best miracle of all occurred through the conversation, my 85-year-old grandmother accepted Christ! She saved my physical life when I was 7, and at 85, God allowed me to be a part of celebrating her eternal life! I see now why she stood by my bed and demanded that they leave me "plugged in." She was fighting for her eternity and didn't even know it! Praise God for His miracles. I am so thankful to be His partner.
