Christian Artist Forrest Frank Hits TikTok’s Top 50 Thanks to Dance Craze

A feel-good song by one of the top artists in Christian music is trending on TikTok -- and even has its own TikTok dance. Forrest Frank's Your Way's Better gained viral status on TikTok in recent weeks, climbing into the platform's much-watched Top 50 chart thanks largely to an easy-to-learn dance popular among teens.

The song currently sits at No. 41 on TikTok's Top 50 chart and has been featured in 250,000 videos -- with users of all ages, from teens to seniors, joining the trend. At least one church even used the song and dance for congregational worship, according to social media.

A video featuring Frank and others performing the dance reached 1 million views.

"This is crazy," Frank wrote on Instagram.

The lyrics in the faith-focused song declare"Oh Lord, I need You now more than ever, would You put my heart back together? I searched the world 'til my head hurt, just to find out Your way's better."

Frank is one of the genre's top artists, having won New Artist of the Year at the 2024 GMA Dove Awards after being named Billboard's New Christian Artist in 2023.

Frank has continued to center his music on Jesus, even as his popularity has soared.

When accepting last year's GMA Dove Award, Frank said he felt "undeserving."

"Because this is just all for Him, and everything I do is for the Lord," he told an audience filled with CCM artists and fans. "For whatever reason, He's chosen to give me some songs that have related to some people. And if He shuts it off and doesn't give me any more songs, that's cool. If He continues to bless it, that's great, but I'm just so thankful to be here, and I want to continue to give Jesus glory -- because my name will fade away, just like all of ours one day.

"But at the end of the time and for all of eternity, one name will remain, and that's the name of Jesus Christ."

It's been a busy month for Frank, who is touring the U.S. with Elevation Rhythm and recently released a collaborative single with TobyMac. Frank turned 30 on April 8.
