Tebows Unveil Baby’s Gender with a Heartfelt Bible-Centered Celebration

Tim and Demi-Leigh Tebow revealed the gender of their baby Wednesday and also shared the Bible verse they will place in the newborn’s nursery when the little one is born this summer. The Tebows learned of the baby’s gender by donning blindfolds and painting a canvas with cans of paint -- either blue or pink -- carefully prepared by a trusted friend.
They then removed their blindfolds, revealing the artwork -- a pink-painted canvas -- that corresponded to their baby’s gender.
The Tebows are parents of a baby girl. They posted a video of the gender reveal on social media and shared the Bible verse that would be added.
“Our greatest blessing. We’ve been praying for her long before we knew her, and we’re beyond grateful that God chose us to be her parents,” they wrote. “We can’t wait to meet you, baby girl! To create a meaningful piece of art for the nursery, we decided to find out the gender through painting! We chose two Bible verses -- one for a boy and one for a girl—to add to the canvas once it was complete.
“The verse we want to speak over our baby girl is Psalm 25:4-5: ‘Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.’”
They announced in January they were expecting their first child.
“We pray that she always finds her identity in Christ and places her hope in His love and truth,” they wrote on social media. “Now, let’s get this nursery in order! Bring on the pink bows, ruffles, and all things sweet.”
Tim Tebow, a former Heisman Trophy winner from the University of Florida, gained national attention not only for his athletic achievements but also for openly sharing his Christian faith. He currently works as an analyst for ESPN’s SEC Network and previously played in the NFL. Demi-Leigh Tebow was crowned Miss Universe in 2017. Both are published authors and passionate advocates for various charitable causes. Through the Tim Tebow Foundation, they support efforts to protect and uplift vulnerable communities. Demi-Leigh’s book, A Crown That Lasts, was released last year.
