Tennessee Pastor Greg Locke Credits Psalm 91 after Gunman Opens Fire on His Home

Tennessee pastor Greg Locke is crediting divine intervention for keeping him and his family safe after a gunman opened fire on his house with dozens of rounds that left holes across the property, including in his daughter’s bedroom. The pastor of Global Vision Bible Church in Mt. Juliet, Tenn., said in a Wednesday 2 a.m. post that a still-unknown gunman turned his home into a “full-blown crime scene” and narrowly missed his family. One of his daughters was home at the time.
Wilson County police told Nashville’s News Channel 5 that they arrived at the home around 10:35 p.m. Tuesday and discovered bullets everywhere. Police are investigating and say roughly 30-40 rounds were fired.
“According to the security cam footage, we pulled into our driveway exactly ONE MINUTE after a madman unloaded an entire magazine of bullets from an automatic weapon into our house, garage, and my truck,” Locke wrote on social media.
“The sound on the video is truly horrific. Detectives will still be here for a good while tonight. Only one of our kids was home, and thank God, not in the same area of the house.”
Locke posted photos of holes in his truck and one in his daughter’s bedroom.
“As you can see in the last pics, one of the bullets cut through the headboard of our youngest daughter’s bed and lodged in her pillow,” Locke wrote. “We are all being security escorted to a hotel tonight. We have no further details. The only detail that matters is that Psalm 91 is true, and GOD PROTECTED US IN UNIMAGINABLE AND SUPERNATURAL WAYS. Please pray for the Locke family tonight. We love all of you.”
It’s not the first time Locke or his church have been targeted. On Easter Sunday this year, an individual burned a trailer full of Bibles in front of the church around 6 a.m.
Locke was featured in the 2023 movie Come Out in Jesus Name.
