Blac Chyna Receives Doctorate Degree from California Bible College

Former OnlyFans star Blac Chyna revealed this week that she received a Doctorate of Liberal Arts degree from Sacramento Theological Seminary and Bible College.

On Monday, the celebrity, who now goes by her real name, Angel White, shared on Instagram that she received the degree back in January.

"On January 17, 2023, I got my Doctorate of Liberal Arts from Sacramento Theological Seminary and Bible College," she wrote. "Doctor Angela Renee White."

Her post included a picture of her degree lying in front of a photo of her two children, King Cairo (10) and Dream (6), ChurchLeaders.com reports.

It is unclear whether White studied for the degree or was given an honorary doctorate from the school.

As Christian Headlines previously reported, White decided to shut down her OnlyFans account and reversed some of her surgical procedures after becoming a Christian. OnlyFans is an online platform that prominently features adult content.

In a post on Instagram last month, she revealed that she got baptized on May 11, 2022, the same day as her birthday.

“I got baptized on 5-11-22 ... I was watching the video again and wanted to show you this because if you look closely at my mouth, you can hear the spirits leaving my body. God is Good,” White posted, showing a video of her baptism.

In a recent interview, she told The Daily Mail that she was moving on from posting on OnlyFans.

“I’m kind of past that,” she said. “It is one of those things where I did what I needed to do at that moment because of the circumstances I was in. Besides, with me being baptized, that’s just not what God will want me to do. It’s kind of degrading.”

During an interview on Fox & Friends Weekend, White shared that it was the Holy Spirit who led her out of her former lifestyle.

“Honestly, for me, I was like, this is too much. It’s time for a change,” White said. “This is not really who I am. Something just came over me, like the Holy Spirit came over me. And I was like, You know what? I need to figure out about what’s my purpose in life? Like, why am I here?”

“When I got baptized, I knew that God told me, you do not need to be doing [OnlyFans]. This is not why I put you here—to degrade yourself. Because our bodies [are] a temple,” she concluded.
