Trump’s AI-Generated Gaza Video Sparks Backlash as Critics Call It a ‘Symbol of the Antichrist’
A viral video posted by Trump of a reimagined Gaza Strip, including a golden statue of the President, received widespread criticism online. Trump posted a 33-second clip of an AI-generated video on social media, which featured a war-torn Gaza Strip from the fighting between Israel and Hamas and ended with Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sipping cocktails by the pool.
The clip also includes several golden images of Trump, including a boy holding a golden balloon in the shape of the President's head, a golden statue of Trump looming over a hotel strip while miniature 'Trump Gaza' golden souvenirs line the AI-generated gift shop shelves.
Elon Musk, who leads the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), was featured several times, including throwing dollar bills in the air and eating hummus on the beach, Premier Christian News reports.
The video also includes a soundtrack that sings, "Donald's coming to set you free, bringing the light for all to see, no more tunnels, no more fear: Trump Gaza's finally here."
"Trump Gaza's shining bright, golden future, a brand new life," the lyrics continue. "Feast and dance the deal is done, Trump Gaza number one."
On Trump's Truth Social Platform, Trump supporters expressed concern over the video.
"I don't think that's funny or cool. Sorry. Am I missing something??? I hope it's a bad joke.." wrote one user.
"I hate this. I love our President, but this is horrible," said another.
Meanwhile, some noted how the symbols in the video are references to biblical imagery.
"Mr President while I appreciate what you do, is not about you. To God be the glory and the honor, for without Him, you couldn't have accomplished anything. The statue is a symbol of the antichrist, please humble yourself to God. Jesus is king and only Him."
The video was seemingly created on the X platform since it features a Grok AI watermark, The Christian Post reports.
At least two pro-Israel accounts, Glasgow Friends of Israel and Nazi Hunters, helped further generate views for the video after sharing it on social media.
