Why We Should Stop Seeing Each Other as the Enemy

The Trump victory was a severe blow to many who claim that "Trump is a threat to democracy and freedom!" For example, Elizabeth Warren posted: "To everyone who is afraid of what happens next, I share your fears." Yahoo News even reported that Canadian police are bracing for a worst-case scenario as asylum-seekers flee a Trump presidency, and Universities recently came under fire for canceling classes and providing safe spaces to students upset by Trump's win. According to Governor Gavin Newsom, California is ready to fight. He posted: "I just called an emergency special session to … protect our state against any unlawful actions by the incoming Trump Administration."
What, Exactly, Is the Threat?
Scrolling through social media feeds, I find myself perplexed: What are all these people scared of? How is Trump a threat to democracy? Didn't Biden weaponize just about every department against Trump? What about controlling information from Facebook, X, Google, and most of the mainstream media outlets? Isn't censoring or silencing free speech a HUGE threat to democracy?
The real enemy is fake fear and targeted division fueled by those who hate America. We must STOP taking the bait. Their agenda is to divide and destroy: Divide America with fear and destroy it from within. This divisive agenda was recently illustrated when a FEMA official directed hurricane relief workers to avoid homes with Trump signs.
Like Joe Rogan, Elon Musk, Tulsi Gabbard, and Robert Kennedy, the Left also needs to realize that America genuinely is much safer and more secure and that freedom can truly ring under a "United" States of America.
Too Big to Rig: Shocked That Trump Won
Why was the world shocked when Trump won? It's simple: The various polls are fraught with error, and many of them are entirely fraudulent, misleading people into thinking it was a close race.
Additionally, many voters didn't say they were voting for Trump because they didn't want their car keyed, their house targeted, or their kids assaulted. This sounds more like Venezuela than America.
Your Enemy Is Not Your Enemy
During Trump's term, we may experience everything from cyber attacks and terrorism to natural disasters and severe power outages, but America must be united. We are all Americans who want what's best for our kids and grandkids.
Most Americans are loving, compassionate people who don't represent the fringe element of their party. There is nothing to fear; we are not the enemy. Much of what happened on January 6, 2021, was also highly exaggerated to spark fear.
Reliving the Twilight Zone
The vast majority of those voting for Trump are not inept, uneducated, or out of touch by wanting America to succeed. We simply cannot support the outright lunacy we are witnessing today, such as men competing in women's sports, transitional surgery for minors, placing tampons in men's bathrooms, and the unrestrained killing of the innocent. The Twilight Zone was canceled decades ago, but sadly, it feels like we're reliving it.
Rights for Some but Not All
Gavin Newsom said that we need to "protect our state" from the Trump Administration. What exactly needs protecting? Newsom adds, "Whether it be our fundamental civil rights, reproductive freedom, or climate action — we refuse to turn back the clock and allow our values and laws to be attacked."
When it comes to "rights," why do we gloss over the rights of the innocent unborn child? The political Right is not a threat to civil rights; we support them, but sin is not a "right." Whether it's gay marriage or killing the unborn, legal is not always lawful. No matter how many laws are passed in favor of gay marriage, transgenderism, or abortion, it will not change God's mind. The Bible says, "Love does not rejoice in iniquity but rejoices in the truth" (1 Cor. 13:6).
The Project '25 Facade
The Left also fueled a great deal of fear over Project 2025, which simply provides a plan to downsize the federal government, including the tax system, welfare, climate change, and immigration. It's not the great monster they make it out to be.
We must stop replacing the truth with propaganda and wisdom with worry. And I haven't even mentioned our nation's severely declining physical health. We should be pleased that this administration is going to take a hard look at everything from the FDA to Big Pharma.
Power to the People
As the first female Chief of Staff in American history is appointed, as Russia and China seek to avert a global crisis and as Trump takes a stand against the mutilation of children and countless other things, it appears that America is already on the mend.
Stop believing the lies of those who want to destroy us from within. We are not your enemy. Those who disagree with the Left's extreme positions don't want to end democracy: We want to put the power back in the hands of God-fearing people who want to build America up instead of tear it down.
