114 Families Were Going to Be without Power at Christmas But Then a Stranger Stepped In

Michael Esmond says that his business, Gulf Breeze and Spas, has done pretty well this year, even with everything that has gone on with the pandemic. And he says that he wants to share his blessings with those less fortunate.
“We’ve had a good year, and that’s why I want to share what I have with the people who need it,” Michael said.
And Michael has been down on his luck before. Back in 1983, he and his three daughters had to spend the Christmas season without heat or power. And it was one of the coldest winters he had ever experienced in Gulf Breeze, Florida.
“I can relate to people suffering and not being able to pay bills,” Michael explained. “That’s probably one of the biggest motivators for me, because I’ve been there.”
114 Families without Power Get Christmas Gift from Good Samaritan
This isn’t the first time that Michael has blessed people during the holiday season. Last December, he also covered 36 families’ bills. But he tripled that this year when he paid for 114 families who could not cover their power bill. All in all, Michael has given $12,215.40 to his community.
“This year to me probably is more meaningful than last year with the pandemic and all the people out of work having to stay home,” shared Michael. “People can’t afford to pay their bills and put food on the table, so I hope doing my part and paying some bills for these folks takes a little bit of stress off of them around Christmas time.”
What a compassionate man! May God continue to bless Michael as he takes care of his community with his giving heart.
Last year, Michael Esmond paid the bills for 36 families who were at risk of having their utilities shut off in Florida.

This year, he did it again — except for one thing.
He paid for 114 families instead.https://t.co/yAKRN05wM7
