Aldi Worker Leaves Woman in Tears When Struggling Customer Can’t Pay for Her Groceries

Aldi Worker Leaves Woman in Tears When Struggling Customer Can’t Pay for Her Groceries

Lisa works at the UK Cannock Aldi store. One day, a resident, Joe Westwood, came to shop at her local Aldi. Joe had fallen on some hard times, dealing with illness and losing a loved one. It was also difficult for her to leave her house.

The Aldi Worker Saved the Day

When it was time to pay, she realized she didn’t have her bank card. She had left it behind and was not able to cover everything. But that’s when the Aldi worker stepped in.

Lisa offered to cover the remaining amount. And Joe was so very grateful.

In a Facebook post, she is quoted as saying, ‘'I was in a bit of a state, and I didn't want to burst into tears, so I'm not sure I even said thank you, but it honestly meant the world to me. It only takes one act of kindness to help someone in need, and you never know how much someone is struggling. I think this lady knew''.

One act of kindness can indeed help someone in need. We never really know what someone is going through, and by showing acts of kindness, we can truly help others and make this world a better place.

Lisa’s Big Heart

Lisa’s heart is big. As if the story about Joe wasn’t enough, we can tell from the comments that she is well-known and well-loved in her local community.

“I shop at Cannock regularly. This lady is always polite and so kind. If I see her on the tills, I always head for her till because I know we will have a little chat as she scans my shopping. It’s nice to be nice.”

“Lisa is lovely, always has a smile! We’re lucky that Cannock is our local store!”

“I've seen Lisa help people like this many times!! She truly is the loveliest.”

Lisa has made a good impression during her time as an Aldi worker. And is an inspiration to all of us.

God Has Called Us

God has called us to help others in need, as Isaiah 1:17 says, “Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.”

As we go about our daily lives, we should look for ways to help one another. Just as Lisa did when Joe came into her store. She truly helped make her day during a time when she needed it most.
