Cristian Ramirez Was Rescued After 22 Hours

Having your child go missing for any length of time is a parent’s worst fear. However, Cristian Ramirez was rescued 22 hours later and returned to his mom and dad’s arms.

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook on the 21st, “Around 8:00 am on Friday, members of the Tulare County Search and Rescue Team found 4-year-old Cristian Ramirez. He was about a quarter mile away from where he reportedly disappeared. Cristian is in good condition, he was just tired and hungry. He has been reunited with his parents. There were no suspicious circumstances in this case.”

More than 50 deputies and volunteers participated in the search to find the little boy. “That was the best day of my life to get my little boy back. And for him to be able to hug us back, it really was the best thing I could have ever imagined,” Renato comments about the rescue. We can only imagine the immense relief it was to hold their little boy in their arms again.

It Was a Modern-Day Miracle

“We are just very grateful to the Tulare and Fresno County Search and Recuse teams and to the Fresno County Sheriffs for really all the support and the effort,” Cristian Ramirez’s father says in a video from NBCLA. “We were witnesses to a modern-day 2024 miracle, and miracles do happen.”
