Little Girl with Autism Reminds Others of Snow White and Her Connection to Animals

And beautiful doesn’t even begin to describe it.
In the video Brittany shares, her daughter, young, innocent, and full of light. She gently interacts with wildlife, including a deer who approaches her as though they’ve known each other forever. There's no hesitation. Just quiet trust. The way the deer leans in and lets her stroke its face, it's like watching a scene out of a fairytale. It’s no wonder so many are calling her “Snow White.”
As a mom to three kids on the autism spectrum, I see what others might overlook. These incredible children experience the world in vivid, powerful ways. Their senses can be overwhelming, their communication may look different—but their hearts? Oh, their hearts are fierce, intuitive, and overflowing with wonder.
God Made Her This Way
When I watched this video, I didn’t just see a little girl with autism. I saw God’s fingerprints. I saw His creativity, His intentional design. I saw a child who was created not in spite of her differences but because of them.
God made her this way—gentle, knowing, in tune with creatures that most people never get close to. And though the world may try to put labels on her, I see the fullness of who she is: precious, powerful, and made in His image.
In the comments, people in awe shared the same sentiment:
“My mom calls me Dr. Doolittle. I don’t have autism, but I have very bad ADHD, and I’ve always had a strong connection with animals,” one person wrote.
Another shared, “I was nicknamed the ‘animal whisperer.’ This makes me so happy.”
Me too.
Because the world needs more of this kind of beauty. The kind that whispers, “You belong. Just as you are.”
