No matter how you look at it, men and woman are not the same; different but equal. The Apostle is not saying a wife is “inferior”, he is pointing out the manner a husband is to treat his wife. God points out areas where we might not naturally respond in a way that demonstrates Jesus character. This is definitely a case where Father knows best (1 Peter 3:7).
