Blah de Blah de Blah!

Jason turned to his wife of 10 years and said I feel at a loss to communicate with you. I want us to communicate and build intimacy in our relationship. I would think that after a while you would hear what I am trying to tell you. Louise looked at Jason with a look of disgust and said blah de blah de blah. I have heard this rhetoric for 10 years and it never sounds different.
It is apparent that Louise has no intent on hearing what Jason has to say and certainly has no intent to make any changes in her way of relating to him. Until there is unity in their goal and agreement on how to achieve intimacy Louise will not hear any words other than blah de blah de blah; intimacy will not be the outcome.
What does it take for God to get through to you? Do you intently listen, or do you hear blah de blah de blah?
(Isaiah 28:10) For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little.
