Crying Out for Help
- Published Mar 02, 2021
There are times when we feel in such distress that the best we can do is simply cry out for help. The Psalmist did it repeatedly when in trouble. “I cry out to God most high, to God, who vindicates me” (Psalm 57:2). Certainly there were many times when David was in trouble, feeling so defeated by life. In those times he, like us, turned his thoughts and prayers toward heaven. He sought the Lord and always found strength. Certainly we can and should do the same.
