Don’t Allow Fear to Paralyze You

It had been one year since Eleanor’s husband Stan died. He provided well for Eleanor throughout their marriage and made certain money wouldn’t be an issue after his death.
Eleanor found herself paralyzed by fear in the months following her husband’s death. She had depended on Stan to take care of her. Now, she was forced to make decisions and take responsibility for herself.
A local church was offering a class on money management. Eleanor took her first step to learn Godly principles and trust in her ability to make decisions. After this series of classes, she felt a small amount of empowerment. This enabled her to take another step to enroll in a class geared toward the needs of widows. She not only made friends, in time she began to enjoy her life.
(Isaiah 41:13) For I the Lord your God hold your right hand; I am the Lord, Who says to you, Fear not; I will help you!
