Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Anger

Anger is one of the most debilitating emotions. Many, in fact, don’t believe anger is a pure emotion, but rather a secondary emotion. Scripture is quick to tell us to “be slow to anger,” because anger can be so debilitating, both to us and to those with whom we are angry. Additionally, we are told: “In your anger do not sin. Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry” (Ephesians 4:26). Be careful to make amends with those whom you have struggled against. Live in peace rather than anger.
