Have the Mindset that Brings Life

Braden was the father of four and wanted to make sure he provided everything for them the world had to offer. He worked long hours, 7 days a week.
He wanted to spend time with his family, but he believed the most important contribution he could make was providing a comfortable lifestyle. As the years passed, his home was filled with every imaginable form of entertainment and comfort. His children had no want for any new gadget they requested. His wife had everything her heart could conceive.
In Braden’s latter years he become very ill. He had round the clock care but never saw his children or his wife. They were continuing on with their lives while his was winding down. Had he or his family ever had an encounter with Jesus? Braden had succeeded in giving his family all the world could offer but had not been concerned about setting their minds on true life.
(Romans 8:6) For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
