Healing Broken Relationships
- Published Aug 05, 2019
It is so easy to create tension and strife, and so difficult to go to those people and ask forgiveness and offer a hand of healing. We can rehearse how we are the one who has been wronged. We can cite all the words spoken against us, the actions that were hurtful, the many ‘reasons’ for maintaining distance. But, we are called to reconciliation that requires that we look into our own hearts. “If, while you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift” (Matthew 5:23-24). Who do you need to reconciled with today?
