Just Start

I’m often stifled by my insecurity in deciding a direction to take in my life. Peering into the future I see so many decisions to be made, and if not careful I can be stuck by indecision. The Lord asks us to simply be obedient and do our best. Scripture says, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you” (Psalm 32:8). Scripture says, “Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord” (Colossians 3:20). He honors our faithfulness and willingness to serve in whatever way seems right. He doesn’t expect us to know more than we can know. Simple, honest obedience and faithfulness are what He honors. So, today if you find yourself stuck and indecisive, just start. Look at the possibilities, pray and then decide, asking God to bless your decisions.
