Someone has said that nonverbal communication makes up 93% of communication, while others suggest it is closer to two thirds of communication. Either way, our body posture, eye contact, gestures and voice tone all comprise a huge portion of communication. When you communicate, are you aware of the message you’re sending with your body and voice tone and pitch? What message do you want to send? It is critical that you take care to show you are fully interested in others. Today, when communicating with others, lean in, tune in and show that you really care.
