Living Water

Living Water

I’ve always appreciated the story of the woman at the well (John 4:1-40). In this story Jesus meets this woman and tells her about her life. He doesn’t condemn her or shame her, in spite of her many failures. She is like you and me—she has a speckled past. She has struggled and suffered and yet Jesus shows her compassion. He tells her that he has something better than water drawn from the well—He has ‘living water.’ If you are in a place of brokenness and need nourishment, there is a place of refreshment waiting for you.
