Love for Enemies

 Love for Enemies

We all have people we can justify carrying a grudge against. We review the litany of wrongs done against us, ways they have harmed us, judging them even more critically then we judge ourselves. As Christians we are to love even those who bother and annoy us. One way to do this is by seeing out “enemies” as more than just people who have offended us. There are larger aspects to them than just the parts that offend us, and we can love them. “Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you” (Luke 6:26).
