One Small Step of Faith

Georgia received a phone call that would change her life forever. Circumstances necessitated her husband Howard, deliver the news via phone; her youngest child had just died. Georgia fell silent.
Georgia was out of town for work on this particular day. Her daughter had not shown any signs to indicate death was imminent. This could not be explained; they could not find answers as to why this happened.
How could God have allowed this to happen? What purpose would this serve?
They were filled with questions. The foundation of their faith was shaken as never before. They couldn’t imagine how they were going to get through this. Their church family committed themselves to help Georgia and Howard through the excruciatingly long process ahead of them. The process started with one small step of faith.
(Matthew 17:20) So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.
