Overcoming Discouragement
- Published Jan 28, 2019
We’ve all experienced a ‘bad mood.’ There are times when, seemingly out of nowhere, a ‘bad mood’ swoops in, lands on me and completely engulfs me. “Where did this come from?” I try to gently ask. There is usually an answer if I am patient and willing to be gently curious. Some old wound has resurfaced or some issue I’ve failed to resolve. My challenge is to be kind to these feelings and learn from them. Usually fairly soon they will pass, and if I’m fortunate, I learn from them. Can you be kind toward any ‘moods’ that come your way?
