Selfish vs. Selfless

The large 20 ft. fishing boat stood ominously beside the small home in Arizona. Jeff had dreamed of owning his own boat since he was in high school.  The year before he had purchased a new hummer.

As much as Janice would love to be in a position to own this boat and drive the hummer, she was struggling to feed and clothe their three children.  The brief discussions they had regarding the purchase of these luxury items usually ended with Jeff storming out. Their income would not support Jeff’s dreamed lifestyle.

Janice was filled with anger and continuously fought with Jeff regarding his spending habits.
