Teach Your Children Well
- Published Nov 26, 2018
Yes, this is an old song from the sixties, but also wonderful counsel. In the beginning of Proverbs, which was actually written for the young, it says, “Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction and do not forsake your mother’s teaching. They will be a crown to grace your head and a chain to adorn your neck” (Proverbs 1:8-9). Not only is this counsel to the young to listen to their parents, but of course counsel to parents to offer wise instruction to their children. Are you teaching your children well? If not, determine to do so today.
