We Have All We Need

The Apostle Paul was quite a character, and an impressive example to us for being content in our circumstances. Here was a man imprisoned on numerous occasions, beaten and mistreated, and yet had the gumption to say, “I have all I need—and more!” (Philippians 4:18) Incredible! He actually doesn’t stop there, offering us some of his exuberance. “And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19). I like that. Next time you face some of the challenges life can throw at us, remember the promises we have in Christ.
