Are you producing the right kind of fruit?
December 6, 2011
“You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit.”
Matthew 7:16-17
There was a question coined a few years ago that’s a question I think every Christian should ponder. Here it is: If you were arrested for being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict you? In other words, when the world looks at you, do they see just another average Joe? Or, do they know you serve a greater King?
There are so many believers in Christ who are good at playing church. They show up on Sunday, put a big smile on their faces, and play the role of a good Christian boy or girl who has it all together. Yet, when you really get to know them, you find out they’re not living for Christ or doing the will of God.
Now, I’m not just talking about people who are committing sins. I’m also talking about those who are living sinful lives by doing nothing of substance for the kingdom of God. Let me make it clear: Going to church doesn’t make you a follower of Christ any more than going to a garage makes you a car!
If you asked those in your life who see you on a daily basis, would they say they see spiritual fruit in your life? Jesus couldn’t have been clearer that those who are truly His will produce good fruit. So pray and ask God today to help you live a life full of spiritual fruit that would honor Him.
FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST WILL BE RECOGNIZED BY THE SPIRITUAL FRUIT THEY PRODUCE. SO PRAY THAT GOD WOULD LIVE HIS LIFE THROUGH YOU AND PRODUCE FRUIT FOR THE WORLD TO SEE.

Stand strong for Christ in the coming year!
Dear Friend,
Over the past year, I’ve taken on a number of hot-button issues including marriage and divorce, the exclusivity of the Gospel, and the future of America.
So to help you stand strong for Christ in the coming year and give a defense for the hope that’s in you, I want to send you what I believe are my most important messages from 2011 together in one series called The Best of 2011.
In these 10 thought-provoking messages, I’ll show you how the Bible answers questions like, “How can I have a great family life?”, “Is there any other way but Jesus?”, and “What’s going to happen to our country in the coming years?”
The Best of 2011is my gift to thank you for your donation to PowerPoint this month. It’s my prayer that it would help you make and keep your new year’s resolution to grow closer with your Heavenly Father.
Thank you for your faithful gift. I’m grateful!
Jack Graham
