Scientists and others who refuse to accept the biblical account of creation have tried for centuries to explain how we came to be. Evolutionists say we evolved and weren't created.
The latest are a group of six British scientists who claim to have discovered the so-called "God particle."
I flunked table of contents in physics, but the easiest explanation is that the God particle is an invisible field across the universe that gives particles their mass, allowing them to clump together to form stars and planets.
The signature particle, a massive boson, explains to the physicists what the universe is made of and how forces within it work.
It still doesn't explain who created matter out of nothing. Apart from God it can't be explained. I'm sticking with Genesis 1 and elsewhere God's question to Job, "Were you there when I laid the foundation of the world?" These scientists weren't. Neither was I, but God was.
I'm Cal Thomas in Washington.
