How to keep Christ in Christmas
December 5, 2012
Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.
Romans 13:8
We live in a world where the average person hasn’t the foggiest idea of the meaning of Christmas. Even many people who put up Christmas trees and even nativity scenes, can’t tell you what Christmas is really all about.
That’s why, as Christians, we have the sacred obligation this time of year to let people know what – or really who – Christmas is all about. Now, there are many well-intentioned people today who fight tooth and nail against the secularization of Christmas. But we need to stop and make sure we’re fighting for the right things.
So what does keeping Christ in Christmas look like this season? Well, it begins with love, not harsh words. I’m talking about a love that provokes us to action by ministering to hurting people and feeding the hungry. We can’t just say we love Jesus. We have to show it!
With so much commercialization and overspending going on right now, stop and think. Ask yourself what it might look like to share the love of Christ with someone this season. That’s how you keep Christ in Christmas – by living out His love each day!
KEEP CHRIST IN CHRISTMAS THIS SEASON BY SHOWING GOD’S LOVE TO THOSE WHO NEED IT MOST!

Not only to grow in your faith as a believer, but to give winsome, compassionate answers to the hard questions our culture is asking.
That’s why I want to send you a special new resource today – my CD series called The Best of 2012.
This series contains 10 of my most popular and compelling messages from 2012, and it’s a resource that’s sure to help you in 2013 because it includes messages such as, “Are All Religions the Same?”, “Lessons on Leadership,” and “What Is a Christian?”
