Look Heavenward

The ways of a man are before
the eyes of the LORD, and
He watches all his paths.
Proverbs 5:21
God is exacting in His knowledge. . . . Not one detail escapes His attention. . . . He knows everything about us. We are an open book before Him.
Furthermore, He is immutably faithful.
And yet He deliberately surprises us with difficult assignments, premature or unexpected deaths, lost jobs, and disappointing circumstances along the journey, even while we're in the nucleus of His will.
Let's face it, it's a mystery.
Wherever you are in this journey called life, wherever you may be employed, wherever you may be in your domestic situation, wherever you may be in your age, your health, or your lifestyle, God may be preparing you for a great surprise in order to find you faithful.
Rather than running from Him, let me suggest the opposite: run toward Him.
Look heavenward and realize that this arrangement is sovereignly put together for your good and for His glory.
