Many times friends come and go. You’ve heard that friends may come into our lives “for a reason, a season or a lifetime.” Scripture tells us, “Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but the kisses of an enemy are lavish and deceitful” (Proverbs 27:6). We are called to stand by our friends, to honor them and help them in tough times. Those same friends will be the ones we can call on when tough times come our way. What kind of friend are you? Can your friends count on you to help them during challenging times?
