Being Truthworthy

We all know what it means to be trustworthy. But what about ‘truthworthy?’ What I mean is being a person worthy of having the truth spoken to. While you might think you can ‘handle the truth,’ in fact you may send a message to others that you are prickly, overly sensitive, resistant to hearing truth. Scripture suggests the answer to this situation lies in our heart: “The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord” (Proverbs 16:1). Do you want to hear the truth? What message do you give to others about this?
