I start things easily; I stick with things with more difficulty. Perhaps you can relate. It’s easy to start a project, filled with excitement and ambition. It’s harder to ‘stay the course’ until the project is completed. I’ve found that one of the ways I can more effectively finish strong is to not take on more than I can manage. Saying ‘no’ at the front end more effectively helps me say ‘yes’ to finishing strong. The Apostle Paul says, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race” (2 Timothy 4:7).
