Star Wars Actor Mark Hamil Wanted His Son’s Girlfriend to Have an Abortion

The pregnant girlfriend of Nathan Hamil, the son of  Mark Hamil of Star Wars fame, decided not to get an abortion, despite being pressured to do so by Hamil and his son.

Model Meagan Chen told Nathan Hamil she was pregnant with their baby as soon as she found out, according to LifeSiteNews.com.

"He immediately told me he wanted me to get an abortion,” she said. But Meagan was reluctant, especially since a previous abortion had left her “suicidal and depressed for a long time afterwards.”

Meagan was worn down by all the pressure from Nathan and from his father and his father’s wife, Marilou, that she finally agreed to get the abortion.

However, due to a scheduling mix-up, the surgical abortion was prevented from happening. Meagan instead took an abortion-inducing pill. A later ultrasounds showed that the baby miraculously survived the abortion attempt, but Nathan Hamil still insisted Meagan get the abortion.

Mark Hamil, who plays Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars films, also told Meagan she needed to abort the baby.

"Mark told me it was just crazy to bring a child into the world that no one wanted," Maegan told LifeSiteNews. "No one asked me if I wanted her, but I did at that point."

Marilou even threatened Maegan in an email: "With baby, you won't see him [Nathan]; without baby, you will."

Despite the attempted coercion, Meagan brought her baby to term. Her baby, Autumn, was born and is doing well.
