The book of John really is all about what is in the verse that you find in Chapter 20 in verse 31, that John is telling us, "I write these things to you who believe in the name of the son of God that you may know that you have eternal life. John wants us to understand that Jesus came to walk on this earth. It's about the word of God, Jesus, becoming flesh and living among us.
And I love the Gospel of John, because we see how Jesus lived. We see the things that he had to encounter all the way through his life, all the way through his ministry, through even the crucifixion and the difficulty of that. But we see how it relates to our lives, and it shows us how to live. And so that's really what John's intention was, that we testify and that we know the good news that's available through Jesus Christ.
