READ

The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18 ESV

TODAY’S ENCOURAGEMENT

Are you facing something that is devastating and overwhelming today? Do you feel isolated and all alone in the midst of it? Beloved, you are not alone. You are precious to God, and He is with you. God has sent you the Holy Spirit to comfort and guide you through this difficult time. He said that He’d never leave you or forsake you. Lean on Him dear sister. Pour out your heart to Him. Share all that you are feeling.

He can handle every bit of it.

Reach out to your pastor or a trusted friend in the Lord. Let God love you through the body of Christ, the family He has given you. Isolation is not a remedy for your broken heart. Enlist a prayer warrior that you know to pray for you. Trust God with the pieces of your heart. He is able to put it back together again.

PRAY

You, O LORD, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head. I cry aloud to You, and You answer me from your holy hill. Thank You. Thank You for drawing near to me as I draw near to You. Please heal my heart. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

REFLECT

Are you drawing near to God or drawing away from Him in your pain? Are you isolating yourself from others?
