For I the LORD do not change. - Malachi 3:6 ESV

TODAY’S ENCOURAGEMENT

We live in a world that puts us in situations that bring about changes in our lives and in the lives of our family members. Sometimes we experience good and difficult changes through death, a tragedy, a change in jobs, a move, a new neighbor, a new boss, etc. No matter the situation, it’s not the circumstance but how we respond to it that determines how we will live out and adjust to the change.

Do we embrace the change and face it head on or do we allow the worries and fear of the change to prevent us from seeing God at work in the new situation? Sometimes the very change is what God will use to draw us closer to Him. God is faithful. God is trustworthy and does not change. Our circumstances may change but not our God.

PRAY

Lord Jesus help me to see You in every change that comes into my life. May I keep You and Your Word first in my thoughts and in my actions. Thank You that You are trustworthy and do not change and that I can face any circumstance with You by my side. In Jesus Christ’s Name, I pray. Amen.

REFLECT

Are you facing change in your life right now? Have you looked to see Jesus at work in your current circumstance?
