What’s the Harm in Looking at Pornography?

Stephen Arterburn

One, it’s betrayal if you’re married. Pornography feels like a bigger betrayal than a real person to some spouses. Two, if you’re using pornography, you’re objectifying women. That can carry over to objectifying all women. Three, pornography damages you. It is all about self-sex and self-absorption.

Intimacy with your wife and only her makes your marriage and her very special. Don’t seek out images that God never intended for you to see.
