Today's verse is Isaiah 40:31 with Kim Matthews.
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
"God wants us to learn how to follow him, and put our demanding selves down, to calm that screaming child on the inside of us. One way that he helps us to do this is to say, "Wait." That miserable, uncomfortable and sometimes even painful state of silence is one of God's most powerful tools to set us free."
