Welcome Crosswalk PLUS subscribers! These raw, uncut videos taking on Scripture are brought to you ad-free from the hearts of your favorite Crosswalk contributors. We'll examine a Bible verse, application, and prayer in five minutes or less as an encouraging way to start any day.
Today's verse is Habakkuk 3:17-18 with Jennifer Slattery.
Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior.
"God simply wants us to come to Him when we're happy, when we're sad, when we're joyful or mad, when we're hopeful and discouraged - because He wants to connect deeply and authentically with us."
